The EVOLTREE Network is composed of four types of activities:

The integrating activities (IAs) are designed to achieve four levels of integration: knowledge, material, research orientation, and human resources.

The jointly executed research activities (JERAs) ambitions are targeted at identifying the gene(s) of adaptive significance, to estimate their diversity in natural populations, to evaluate their impact on the interaction between species and on the composition of communities, and to evaluate their contribution to evolution.

The spreading excellence activities (SEAs)
are designed to fulfil four objectives: dissemination of preexisting know-how and knowledge among the partners; communication of the Network results to the scientific community; transfer of technology, and the international cooperation to make a link with other EU projects.

The management activities (MAs)
will provide the most suistable framework needed for the optimum achievement of activities.
