The workshop is held as a commitment of Treebreedex Coordinated Action (coord. Dr. Luc Pâques, INRA Orléans). With more than 50 participants, and relevant invited speakers such as Carl Schlichting (Univ. Connecticut), Fernando Valladares (CSIC), Susan Dudley (Mc. Master Univ.) and Partricia Givert (CNRS), the workshop should facilitate interesting discussions aim at increasing our knowledge on:

• Relationships between phenotypic stability and phenotypic plasticity
• Distinctions between plasticity of populations and genetic variability of populations
• Genetic variation of phenotypic plasticity
• Epigenetic memory as part of adaptive plasticity
• Quantification of the environmental variables in genotype x environment studies of plasticity

The conclusions will be propagated through the project's web site (click here) and links in other relevant sites.
